The elements in this category evaluate the effectiveness of management processes for optimising the quality and reliability of supply and alternative supply options. In particular, this element looks at such issues as the re-use and recycling of water, meeting network supply conditions such as backflow prevention and to what degree alternative options for sourcing water supply have been evaluated and implemented. The elements also evaluate the development of systems for managing relevant wastewater compliance as well as the development of procedures to react, review, assess and document compliance issues.
